It goes without saying that every story is unique and centres around the couple for the love they share. Anna and Dave’s story is no different! They are the perfect couple so I knew it would be a unique and memorable Mount Juliet engagement session from the moment I met them. I was so happy to shoot Anna and Dave’s engagement session in Kilkenny.

Anna and Dave are planning to marry in Mount Juliet in June, so we took the opportunity to meet the couple at this venue. After chatting for ages about their unique and creative ideas, I went with portraying their Mount Juliet Engagement session. Shooting at such an exquisite estate was incredible. It is one of the most beautiful venues in Ireland for hosting special occasions. The Mount Juliet wedding venue offers couples the flexibility to choose between Manor house and Hunter’s Lodge for hosting events. The estate also features a golf course and multiple walking and running trails – perfect for photos! 

In fact, Mount Juliet – set in the heart of Kilkenny countryside, is one of the oldest walled estates with acres of parkland, meadows, and forest giving you the most romantic location for your special day. It’s genuinely remarkable, with timeless exteriors covered in leaves that bring the feeling of wonder to your pictures. The flower-filled gardens, popping with every colour and raw texture of the rocks, serve as a versatile shooting scenery that is truly reflected in the photos. Straddling the river Nore, this historic site is one of the most beautiful and elegant venues I have ever shot at. You will be surprised to learn that Mount Juliet has been enchanting guests from all across the world since its beginning in 1720.

Thus, it was no surprise that this Mount Juliet engagement session with Anna and Dave was an absolute joy to capture, enjoying the gorgeous grounds. The couple was easy-going, laid back, and fun, which made the session unique. There are many stunning locations throughout the estate, including the famous “Moongate,” which is truly a photographer’s paradise in the walled gardens. The venue has a perfect balance of countryside elegance, incredible natural settings, warm vibes, and cosiness that makes everyone feel welcomed and comfortable.

While looking at the pictures, you can see how eventful, stunning, and remarkable this Mount Juliet engagement session was. I loved how the images have so many emotions in them. It’s the days like these when we look back at the pictures and consider ourselves fortunate enough to have met a genuine, loving couple and explore beautiful places like Mount Juliet. I wish Anna and Dave the best for their future and great new beginnings.
