This early spring wedding at Rathsallagh House just goes to show that you don’t need the sun to be absolutely “splitting the stones” as we say here in Ireland to have the most amazing day.
With a little faith in the weather as well as a photographer who can capture good light and make the most of season of Spring, it can still look like you were married on the most amazingly beautiful day. Naturally the weather is on the minds of couples in the lead up to their day. But really, I always say, just forget about the weather. The memories you make on the day are what you will hold dear after your day has passed and when you choose the right photographer for you and you look back over your wedding album – it is the happiness you remember and all those feelings of love from your family and friends. I like to think that when my couples look back on their photographs or show them off to friends, you cant really tell what time of year it was! I love photographs that are light and airy, almost dreamy and strive for this look all year round :<)
Triona and John’s was one such day, where you look back and remember the joy of the occasion and not the weather outside! Triona looked absolutely stunning and was such a pleasure to spend the morning preparations with. She was so relaxed and elegant in her approach to the day. I think getting ready at your venue really helps to achieve that. Once you have checked in and unpacked you can relax, no more running around! John also got ready from Rathsallagh House, so it was a treat to be able to capture him with his groomsmen as he got ready for the day ahead also!
And then it was on to the church in Dunlavin, a beautiful light filled church that set the tone for the day and the celebrations ahead.
I will let the images do the rest of the talking below. But I just wanted to mention the stunning fairly lit tree on the grounds of the house that we couldn’t resist getting some nigh time photographs in front of. Such a beautiful end to a beautiful day!
