It is hard to beat a Ballymagarvey Village Winter wedding. I have photographed there several times and the welcome is so warm and the old house so homely and inviting that you soon forget the cold outside. I was lucky to be back there again with Katie and Frank for their November wedding. You might remember this gorgeous couple from their Summer engagement session in Kells. We spent a lovely time around the ruins in Kells, Kilkenny – so by the time the wedding came around we had met several times (I also photographed Katie’s brothers wedding) and were so relaxed with each other. Katie and Frank were a dream to photograph. Katie absolutely shone in her Suzanne Neville design that was so unique and oh so pretty as well! The afternoon was windy but it gave Katie’s gown a beautiful whimsical feel.
After a short stroll around the grounds it was back to the house for the warmth of the fire and Katie and Frank’s drink reception. The party continued and Ballymargarvey knows how to put on a great party and I’m sure the dancing continued long after I had left and into the night.
Here are the highlights below from the day…I hope you enjoy looking through them. Please feel free to leave a comment below.
