Mary and I first met to discuss her wedding in Dublin and as we chatted about where we were from we realized we grew up very close to each other, went to the same primary school and even played together as children. It’s a small world! Mary and John met threw their mutual friend Claire who also happened to be chief bridesmaid. I love their engagement story – John whisked Mary away for a romantic weekend in Budapest, where in the idyllic setting of a beautiful hotel and restaurant as well as some ice-skating he asked Mary to be his wife!
And so the day arrived and Mary and John got married at the pretty church in Ardmore, Co. Waterford and on to Castlemartyr Resort for the celebrations to begin. It was such a fun wedding with lots of laughter and singing and a fireworks display (arranged by Mary’s father) to top it all off!
Thank you Mary and John for having me to document your wedding it was such a joy and I’m looking forward to doing it all over again at Katie’s wedding in November :<)
