From the moment I met Jade and Des, I knew it was going to be a great day. Such a lovely, laid back and welcoming couple who were married at Seachurch in Ballycotton with a beautiful wedding reception at one of mu favourite Irish wedding venues – Castlemartyr Resort. Jade and Des also chose to get ready at the venue which provides absolutely stunning suites for your morning preparations. Jade was in the safe hands of Dawn and Lynsey for makeup and hair.
Seachurch – what a stunning space for your wedding ceremony, close to Cork. The feeling and atmosphere is difficult to match, it is just so idyllic. Beautifully decorated on this occasion by Jill Wildflower, it was just breathtaking and as a winter Christmas wedding in Cork, the Christmas tree and atmospheric light just brought the whole ambience to life.
Jade and Des really wanted to have photographs in Ballycotton with the lighthouse in the background and we found the most beautiful sheltered little cove to take some photographs. It was so calm and peaceful there, we almost forgot the time of year and whilst we also took photographs back at the venue, these beach images add a lovely variety to their collection. And at Castlemartyr we found a winter wonderland and layering of frost that really added to the festive vibe and beautifully decorated venue.
