A Surprise Engagement at the Rock of Cashel
In March, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Zach and Ali’s unforgettable surprise engagement at the iconic Rock of Cashel. Nestled in the heart of County Tipperary, this ancient site is one of Ireland’s most breathtaking backdrops, a dream location for any romantic occasion.
Ali believed she was meeting me for a casual guided tour of the Rock. In my best tourist guide impression, I pointed out the medieval ruins, round tower, and the sweeping views across the Golden Vale. What she didn’t realize was that Zach had planned something far more meaningful.
The Moment She Said Yes – Surprise Engagement at the Rock of Cashel
As we strolled around the grounds, Zach waited for the perfect moment. With the majestic ruins behind him, he got down on one knee and proposed. Ali’s reaction was pure joy and shock, and, of course, she said yes!
Being able to photograph this emotional moment was incredibly special. The light, the history, and the pure happiness on their faces made it all so memorable. The Rock of Cashel offered an incredible setting for this once-in-a-lifetime moment, with its dramatic stone structures and panoramic views.
