A Perfect Location for an Irish-Welsh Celebration
Cashel Palace in County Tipperary quickly became the perfect wedding venue choice for Janet and Andy. Janet, originally from Ireland, and Andy, from Wales, who are now both living in London, decided to come back to Ireland for their wedding. Additionally, when they started planning their wedding, they wanted somewhere that connected them both to Ireland and offered a memorable experience for guests. And for them Cashel Palace was the perfect choice.
Set in the heart of Ireland, this elegant 18th-century venue combines history, luxurious comfort, and incredible scenery. With the Rock of Cashel just steps away, it created the ideal setting for their August wedding in Tipperary.
A Ceremony with the Rock of Cashel as the Backdrop
Janet and Andy exchanged vows with the Rock of Cashel standing proudly behind them, a view that added both drama and meaning to their day. Added to this the weather held beautifully, allowing everyone to enjoy the peaceful gardens and historic atmosphere.
Before the ceremony, they shared a private first look in the palace gardens. Linked to the calm setting, soft light, and elegant architecture made for a moment they’ll never forget. And it was my pleasure to be there as their wedding photographer.
A Relaxed and Beautiful Day
The rest of the day flowed naturally – laughter, great food, and beautiful music, surrounded by family and friends. The team at Cashel Palace ensured every detail ran smoothly, making it easy for Janet and Andy to simply enjoy their celebration. The mix of Irish warmth and charm of the Cashel Palace made the day feel relaxed and genuine.
