Jean and Donal’s love is the epitome of how distance can never hinder a love that is destined to be. And I was more than grateful to be able to witness their intimate outdoor ceremony in the romantic Mount Juliet Estate. You can easily lose yourself in the delicate details of their ceremony, from the beautiful floral moon arch to the grand setting of Mount Juliet’s Walled Garden, everything was elegant and timeless.
This intimate celebration of their love leaves you with a strong lasting impression of the simple elegance and charm of a sophisticated wedding, which easily depicts the personality of Jean and Donal. Besides being a sophisticated celebration, I can easily say that the couple also wanted a cultural wedding to pay respect to their beloved families who were willing to travel despite all the additional travel requirements nowadays, just to attend their intimate outdoor ceremony. That definitely showed how deeply rooted their love within the family is. Jean and Donal, opting for a traditional tea ceremony while Jean also played a piano piece as a form of gratitude will forever be such a cherishing moment for everyone present. This marks the part of the cultural wedding where two worlds, no matter how different, became one because of love.
Truly, this intimate outdoor ceremony will forever be special, not just because of how glorious the weather and view were, but also because of how emotional and love-filled the day was. A day where another chapter starts for two people who met overseas and were tested by distance but never gave up. For they always knew they had something special and that nothing could ever get in between them. Not even Jean needing to go back to Singapore and Donal taking up a medical post to go to Africa to volunteer as a doctor. They knew they could make it work and they did.
