Well, can we start with a resounding ‘Holy Matrimony’? What. A. Dress. Cara’s Margaret Moreland creation was equal parts 50s glamour and fairytale perfection, with a modest neckline balancing a full-on ballgown skirt and a fabulous satin-trimmed veil. And it had pockets. I know, just heavenly.
And that’s before I even get started on the huge floral installations and fairy lights hanging from the the reception roof, the candlelit speeches and the country cottage gardens at Virginia Park Lodge. If you’re planning a wedding with a Midsummer Night’s Dream meets Glamorous 1950s vibe, let me say no more than this: Cara and Paul’s big day is essential reading.
