October is such a beautiful time of year for a destination wedding in Ireland at Kilshane House and this Autumn Destination Wedding in Ireland at Kilshane House with Kate and Niall didnt disappoint.
Kate and Niall, what can I say! Two beautiful people to spend time with. Full of fun with a clear love for family and friends. Who clearly love them back, based on their amazing day at Kilshane House! Their Tipperary wedding was special to them, having both grown up in Canada to Irish parents. With Kate’s hailing from Co. Tipperary, Kilshane House was the perfect choice. I thought it was such a touching way to meet, in different country and both with Irish parents. So a destination wedding in Ireland was always on the cards!

Kate spent the morning getting ready at Kilshane House with her bridesmaids – both friends and cousins. Whilst Niall was there too getting ready with his brother and friends. This led to a beautifully relaxed morning, with lots of time for photographs with both guys and girls. And to keep the relaxed vibes going Kate and Niall also really wanted to do a first look. The aim was to have those butterflies and last minute nerves gone ahead of the ceremony in Kilshane Houses stunning urvilinear conservatory. Dating back to 1860. What a setting!

Kate wowed in her gown from Felicia Bridal in Toronto and opted for beautiful soft curls styled by Lorna from Bridal Hair by Lorna. Jade Kirwan was on hand for Kates, soft yet elegant bridal look. The off the shoulder gown was just perfect for Kate’s petite frame. Teamed with a delicate veil and Kate was ready to go meet her husband to be!

Kates bridesmaids were beautiful emerald green in a nod to both sides Irish heritage, with the green making a coordinated appearance in the groomsmen ties. And Niall opted for a tailored black suit.

We chose the beautiful secret garden at Kilshane House for the couples first look because it was so discreet. And the October Autumnal colours there were beautiful. It always reminds me there of a romantic Italian villa setting. It was just perfect. We spent a quiet few moments in the garden before taking a stroll back towards the main house. I like to keep this part of the day nice and relaxed.
I always tell my couples couples that were are simply going for a stroll with a few stops along the way and it is often in the strolling that I am getting those beautiful natural portraits of my couples together. where they are truly relaxed in each others company and naturally enjoying their time together.

And it was back to Kilshane House for the last of the final preparations and onto the ceremony in the conservatory. Such an imtimage setting for a ceremony. A really unique space that Kate and Niall had decorated beautifully. Florals on the day were by Fethard Flowers by Mandy.

With a sweet first look with dad along the way!

It is hard t believe this is October and the drinks reception was outside in all those beautiful Autumn wedding colours. Adding to the relaxed vibe, speeches were also outside led by Niall’s younger brother and Kate’s dear friend. The Guinness and Espresso Martinis were flowing!

Whilst guests made their way to dinner, Kate and Niall took the opportunity for photographs in the now quiet conservatory. Such a clever way to mix up your photography on the day. They enjoyed all of their drinks reception with their guests. This was especially important and everyone had travelled from so far and then whilst they were taking their seats and perusing the menu Kate and Niall stole some moments for themselves – with a few minutes with me as well of course! And then they were free to sit and have a drink together and a chat about all that had gone before….And then dinner and dancing!!
