Amanda and her beautiful family travelled to Ireland from Canada for a Summer break (before covid!). I was so excited when she reached out for a family session as they were staying in a stunning country house in Castlecomer with the most amazing garden for photographs, so I knew we could make it really amazing! It is such a good idea, if you are planning a family photo session, to arrange it when the family are all together and away on a trip. It can take the hassle out of arranging it for at home – no big clean up!! And everyone is relaxed, in holiday mood and excited to be photographed all together.
A photography session when you are all together usually coincides with a family celebration – a special birthday or anniversary and it is so important to mark these occasions together and even better if you can capture them professionally through a photographers lens. I think it is something that people dont always consider, and something they are so glad they did if they arrange a session. I find that if I photograph a family together for a special occasion, they come back to me again and again as they saw the immense value in having a photographer there.
