Getting Ready for a Spring Kilkenny Wedding
Some wedding days prove that the weather really doesn’t matter when the atmosphere is this good. Katie and Luke’s wedding at Newpark Hotel was full of fun, laughter and the kind of relaxed energy that makes documenting a day feel effortless from start to finish.
The morning began in Wexford at Katie’s parents’ house, where she spent the morning getting ready with her girls. There was such a lovely buzz throughout the house — plenty of laughs, music, excitement and a calmness that set the tone for the rest of the day. Even with the rain outside, everyone was in great spirits and completely focused on enjoying every moment.
A Beautiful Church Ceremony Before Celebrations
From there, it was on to the church for a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends before heading back to Newpark Hotel for the celebrations.

One of the nicest things about Katie and Luke’s day was how relaxed they kept everything. Rather than travelling around for photographs, we kept all of the portraits at the hotel grounds. It meant there was no rushing off for long periods and they got to spend so much more quality time with the people who had come to celebrate with them. Sometimes keeping things simple really is the best decision.
