This is why I love to take photos in the most candid way possible, just like what I did with our relaxed autumn Kilkenny family session with little Amelie.

Little Amelie is a tiny bundle of joy for her mommy Louise which is why a pre-first birthday shoot was unquestionable. Louise wanted to have a comfortable family session at home for some timeless and relaxed family photography. I had the pleasure of taking their portraits and her two beautiful girls together. In essence, many prefer an outdoor family photography session, which I also adore shooting, but generally, the scenery is just a part of the portraiture. When working with families the most important aspect is to be relaxed and to create a comfortable atmosphere where every member can be themselves. For this instance, I just let the two little girls play with their toys as I happily documented the moment with every click of the camera. I know how much Louise wanted it to feel as homey as possible, so for an outdoor touch, we opted for a photoshoot in a more intimate setting – their family home garden. Their garden completed the whole ambience of an autumn Kilkenny family session and added a more natural charm to every photo taken.
